Alcohol Leaves Real Scars
I put a post up called: Girl with the Scar... Take a look at it and leave your comments. Many people are suffering from drug and alcohol addictions – or even gambling addictions – one of the worst problems with addictions is that those addictions expand beyond the addict.
They typically steal from their family members or from friends. The problem is that they cannot get away with it forever. Once the family member or friend realized they have been lied to – it’s over and a bond of trust has been broken – most likely permanently.
I feel sad and that is why I want to do something about it. That is why I created Drug Abuse Focus. You can help too. Here is how:

My Friend Vicki’s Sad Story
I just finished writing about my friend Vicki, she died when we were a few months from graduating highschool.
Vicki’s life was cut short in a very sad way. There was irony in the story – but there was nothing funny in it.
She was a good person. We all miss Vicki.
You can read Vicki’s story here.
It’s been many years since then, but I’m still sad about the story. I think you will completely understand why.
Everyone has a story about alcohol or drug abuse / use.
Drug and Alcohol Abuse
I want to start out with a story of someone who ended up in a drug rehab center. His girlfriend was exceptionally beautiful when I first met them. Several months later, she approached me as I was practicing the exercises of Falun Dafa in a local park.
When I opened my eyes to respond to her prescence I was shocked! Her face was scarred. She was still beautiful but the scars were noticeable too.
That’s when she told me about her boyfriend drinking and driving. He was an alocoholic who also used drugs. They were in an accident. He felt terribly bad about the scars on her beautiful face and motivated himself to go to rehab.
I never heard from or saw her again, save one very brief phone message. I hope this story had a happy ending.
